We are looking for an experienced and proactive Collection Manager to oversee the debt collection operations at our chit fund company. The Collection Manager will be responsible for managing collection processes, ensuring timely recovery of dues, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debt Collection:

    • Develop and implement effective collection strategies and processes.

    • Monitor and manage the collection of outstanding dues from customers.

    • Ensure timely recovery of dues in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead and supervise a team of collection agents.

    • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and manage team performance.

  • Customer Relations:

    • Maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring payment compliance.

    • Address and resolve customer queries and disputes related to collections.

    • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

    • Prepare and submit regular reports on collection activities and performance.

    • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to debt collection.

    • Develop and implement risk management strategies.

    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in debt collection or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
